We are an independent, family run cafe located on Lower Grosvenor Place, just a stone’s throw from Buckingham Palace, and proud winners of the TripAdvisor Traveller’s Choice Awards for seven years; 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2022, putting us into the TripAdvisor Hall of Fame!
Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a delicious slice of homemade cake, in our wonderfully vintage café. You can also choose from our hearty breakfast menu or treat yourself to a Traditional Afternoon Tea.
We currently serve breakfast from 8.00am to 11.30am. Traditional Afternoon tea and a small lunch menu is served from 12pm (Last orders are one hour before close). We offer take-away only 30 minutes before closing. Our famous home-made scones are available all day too.
We are now taking reservations for our Traditional Afternoon Tea. Email info@theenglishrosecafe.co.uk to book your table 24 hours in advance. Please note, during peak season and public holidays, reservations may be limited. Check out our Instagram page for a list of excluded dates. Time slots for table reservations are 11:45-13:00, 13:00- 14:15, 14:15-15:30, 15:30-16:45. Please arrive on time as the table will only be held for a maximum of 10 minutes.
